{"id":742,"date":"2026-04-28T13:48:02","date_gmt":"2026-04-28T11:48:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/localhost\/beastie\/kako-odrzati-formu-cak-i-kada-putujes\/"},"modified":"2026-05-13T09:56:19","modified_gmt":"2026-05-13T07:56:19","slug":"how-to-stay-in-shape-even-while-traveling","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/marinabosnjakovic.com\/en\/how-to-stay-in-shape-even-while-traveling\/","title":{"rendered":"How to Stay in Shape &#8211; Even While Traveling"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"47\" data-end=\"118\">Most women say they\u2019ll \u201cstart properly\u201d once they get back from a trip.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"120\" data-end=\"196\">Or after vacation.<br data-start=\"138\" data-end=\"141\" \/>And then another month goes by.<br data-start=\"172\" data-end=\"175\" \/>And another \u201cMonday.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"198\" data-end=\"209\">My clients?<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"211\" data-end=\"288\">They travel.<br data-start=\"223\" data-end=\"226\" \/>They go on vacation.<br data-start=\"246\" data-end=\"249\" \/>And they still manage to stay in shape.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"290\" data-end=\"380\">Not because they obsessively count calories.<br data-start=\"334\" data-end=\"337\" \/>And not because they avoid food altogether.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"382\" data-end=\"452\">But because they\u2019ve learned how to make the best out of any situation.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"454\" data-end=\"662\">They know how to build balanced meals \u2014 even in hotels.<br data-start=\"509\" data-end=\"512\" \/>They know how to enjoy dessert without ruining their progress.<br data-start=\"574\" data-end=\"577\" \/>They know which small habits keep them on track, even when conditions aren\u2019t perfect.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"664\" data-end=\"685\">And most importantly:<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"687\" data-end=\"745\">They don\u2019t build their life around training and nutrition.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"747\" data-end=\"804\">They build their training and nutrition around real life.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"806\" data-end=\"821\">Just like I do.<\/p>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"th2mnp\" data-start=\"823\" data-end=\"916\">So how do I stay in shape while traveling \u2014 and still enjoy food and the whole experience?<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"918\" data-end=\"996\">Because the goal is to create a lifestyle you can actually maintain long-term.<\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"rp89il\" data-start=\"998\" data-end=\"1045\">1. I always prioritize protein at breakfast<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1047\" data-end=\"1137\">Whether I\u2019m in a hotel or apartment: eggs, Greek yogurt, ham, smoked beef, cottage cheese\u2026<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1139\" data-end=\"1209\">Last weekend in Sarajevo?<br data-start=\"1164\" data-end=\"1167\" \/>Dried beef and eggs did the job perfectly.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1211\" data-end=\"1335\">Starting the day with protein keeps energy levels stable, helps with cravings, and makes everything easier later in the day.<\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"1npedxk\" data-start=\"1337\" data-end=\"1369\">2. I walk outdoors every day<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1371\" data-end=\"1403\">At least 30 minutes in daylight.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1405\" data-end=\"1470\">And whenever possible, I walk instead of taking taxis or driving.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1472\" data-end=\"1517\">More movement.<br data-start=\"1486\" data-end=\"1489\" \/>More steps.<br data-start=\"1500\" data-end=\"1503\" \/>Better energy.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1519\" data-end=\"1541\">Simple, but effective.<\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"tph4vi\" data-start=\"1543\" data-end=\"1590\">3. I still train \u2014 even if it\u2019s not perfect<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1592\" data-end=\"1622\">If the hotel has a gym, great.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1624\" data-end=\"1679\">If not?<br data-start=\"1631\" data-end=\"1634\" \/>20 minutes in the room with resistance bands.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1681\" data-end=\"1744\">(Yes \u2014 the same bands my Beast girls always carry with them \ud83d\ude09)<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1746\" data-end=\"1795\">Because consistency matters more than perfection.<\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"rnwyzz\" data-start=\"1797\" data-end=\"1837\">4. I enjoy local food \u2014 just smarter<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1839\" data-end=\"1871\">Travel is about experiences too.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1873\" data-end=\"1967\">I\u2019m absolutely going to try local food.<br data-start=\"1912\" data-end=\"1915\" \/>But I make choices that help me feel good afterward.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1969\" data-end=\"2006\">Again, Sarajevo is a perfect example.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2008\" data-end=\"2084\">\u0106evapi? Of course.<br data-start=\"2026\" data-end=\"2029\" \/>But without the bread \u2014 with salad on the side instead.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2086\" data-end=\"2127\">Small adjustments make a huge difference.<\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"12a1hua\" data-start=\"2129\" data-end=\"2153\">5. I eat dessert too<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2155\" data-end=\"2194\">I\u2019ll absolutely have dessert sometimes.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2196\" data-end=\"2270\">But most of the time, I choose lighter or no-sugar options when available.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2272\" data-end=\"2296\">Not because I \u201chave to.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2298\" data-end=\"2346\">But because I know how I want to feel afterward.<\/p>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"iulpd2\" data-start=\"2348\" data-end=\"2372\">You only get one life<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2374\" data-end=\"2458\">And yes \u2014 life feels better when you\u2019re healthy, strong, and confident in your body.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2460\" data-end=\"2553\">But that doesn\u2019t mean you need to give up traveling, dinners, celebrations, or enjoying food.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2555\" data-end=\"2634\">And you definitely don\u2019t need to wait for life to \u201ccalm down\u201d before you start.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2636\" data-end=\"2658\">Because realistically?<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2660\" data-end=\"2697\">There will never be a perfect moment.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2699\" data-end=\"2720\">There will always be:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2722\" data-end=\"2813\">\n<li data-section-id=\"xdrblw\" data-start=\"2722\" data-end=\"2731\">trips<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1js56bc\" data-start=\"2732\" data-end=\"2742\">stress<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1tc8jqa\" data-start=\"2743\" data-end=\"2763\">responsibilities<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"71oy4v\" data-start=\"2764\" data-end=\"2779\">dinners out<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"4ilzyx\" data-start=\"2780\" data-end=\"2796\">celebrations<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1uq8qgz\" data-start=\"2797\" data-end=\"2813\">busy periods<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2815\" data-end=\"2849\">The goal isn\u2019t to avoid real life.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2851\" data-end=\"2899\">The goal is knowing what to do during real life.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2901\" data-end=\"2930\">And yes \u2014 discipline matters.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2932\" data-end=\"3033\">The idea that you can eat absolutely anything all the time and still feel your best?<br data-start=\"3016\" data-end=\"3019\" \/>Not realistic.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3035\" data-end=\"3088\">But even more important than discipline is knowledge.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3090\" data-end=\"3098\">Knowing:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"3100\" data-end=\"3259\">\n<li data-section-id=\"zrxwu4\" data-start=\"3100\" data-end=\"3141\">what to do when you\u2019re away from home<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"hh8083\" data-start=\"3142\" data-end=\"3201\">how to build balanced meals without tracking everything<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1y04vuy\" data-start=\"3202\" data-end=\"3259\">how to stay consistent even when your routine changes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"3261\" data-end=\"3309\">Because waiting for the \u201cperfect time\u201d to start?<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3311\" data-end=\"3341\">That time usually never comes.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3343\" data-end=\"3445\">And if you constantly feel stuck in programs you can only follow for a few weeks before starting over\u2026<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3447\" data-end=\"3478\">The problem probably isn\u2019t you.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3480\" data-end=\"3498\">It\u2019s the approach.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3500\" data-end=\"3611\">I\u2019ve worked with women for over 20 years.<br data-start=\"3541\" data-end=\"3544\" \/>Mothers. Entrepreneurs. Executives. Busy professionals.
