On International Women’s Day, as part of the Pink Vision Day event, I hosted my workshop, “Debunking Myths About Exercise and Nutrition.”
As always, there were more people interested than available seats.
It meant a great deal to hear that the workshop exceeded expectations. Many people assume it will be a typical fitness talk or “just another lecture about the gym,” but what they experienced instead was a comprehensive, evidence-based approach to health, the body and the mind.
Some of the topics we covered included:
- burnout prevention strategies
- the importance of quality sleep and how to improve it
- nutrition and supplements for a stronger immune system
- protocols for better health, improved physical function and greater focus
- how to choose the right type of exercise and adjust training frequency and intensity
- how to read and understand nutrition labels
